How to Get a Temporary Email in Telegram (No App Install)
To get a temporary email in Telegram, open the official Inboxto bot, select Start, and launch its Mini App. Inboxto creates an address without requiring a separate email-app download or mandatory account registration. Copy the address, use it where email is appropriate, then return to the same Telegram Mini App to read incoming messages. Here, “no app install” means no additional mail app after Telegram is already installed; it does not mean Telegram itself is unnecessary.
The two-minute setup
- Open
https://t.me/InboxtoBotin Telegram. - Confirm that the profile name is Inboxto and the username is @InboxtoBot.
- Tap Start, then use the button that opens the Mini App.
- Copy the generated email address.
- Paste it into the email field of the service you are using.
- Return to Inboxto inside Telegram and wait for the message.
- Open the email, then copy the code or follow the verification link if you trust the sender and expected the message.
Telegram's official Mini Apps documentation says these interfaces launch directly inside Telegram. A Mini App may be opened from a bot profile, a menu button, or a direct link, so the exact button position can differ by Telegram client and bot configuration. You are still using a web-based service; Telegram is simply the container in which it opens.

What happens after you press Start
Inboxto gives you a randomly generated receiving address. You can copy it immediately and begin receiving email. The address is persistent rather than disappearing after a short countdown: it remains available until you delete it. That is useful when a service may send a second confirmation or an account notice later.
Ordinary messages have a retention period that depends on the current plan. Inboxto's Star action saves an important message permanently, while AI Summary can condense a message so you can understand it faster. Those features do not change the sender's policies and do not make an unsafe link trustworthy; check the sender and destination before acting.
No registration is required for the first generated address. Optional sign-in is for cross-device sync and account features, not a prerequisite for trying the inbox. If you prefer to understand the broader signup pattern first, see how to sign up without exposing your real email.
First-hand editorial check, August 28, 2026: We opened the public Telegram profile at
t.me/InboxtoBotand compared it with the Telegram link published on Inboxto's official website. Both point to @InboxtoBot. The public Telegram profile currently shows the name “Inboxto” and the description “Secure Temporary Email in Seconds.” This check matters because similarly named bots can exist; use the exact username rather than Telegram search alone.
Use the temporary address safely
A temporary inbox is best for low-risk email separation: newsletters, product trials that permit it, community downloads, QA flows, and services where you do not want marketing mail in your personal inbox. It is an email tool only. Inboxto does not provide SMS numbers, so it cannot receive a text-message verification code.
Before using any temporary address, ask two questions:
- Will I need this email to recover an important account months from now?
- Does the service allow temporary or alternative email addresses?
Use a long-term mailbox you strongly protect for banking, government, healthcare, primary social accounts, paid purchases, and any account whose loss would be costly. A persistent Inboxto address reduces the risk of losing a follow-up email, but it is not a promise that another platform will accept the domain or permit this use. Do not rotate addresses to force a blocked signup through.
For a broader service-selection checklist, compare the privacy and retention tradeoffs in the guide to temporary and anonymous email services.
Receiving a code or confirmation link
After submitting the temporary address, keep the Telegram Mini App open or return to it shortly afterward. Most delivery problems are easier to diagnose in this order:
- Confirm the recipient shown by the sender matches the copied Inboxto address.
- Refresh the inbox once rather than repeatedly requesting new messages.
- Check whether the sender reports that the address was rejected.
- Request one new email only after the sender's cooldown allows it.
- If the message arrives, verify the sender and link destination before opening it.
Email delays can happen upstream. Repeatedly pressing “send again” may trigger a platform rate limit or leave several valid codes in the inbox, making it unclear which one is newest. Use the most recent expected message and never share a one-time code with another person.
Telegram Mini App versus a browser tab
The email service is the same idea in either place, but the access pattern differs:
| Inside Telegram | In a browser |
|---|---|
| Opens from a familiar bot chat | Opens from a bookmark or typed URL |
| Convenient when Telegram is already open | Works without using Telegram |
| Keeps the inbox close to conversations | Keeps email activity separate from chat |
| No separate mail app to install | No Telegram installation required |
Choose the route that matches your device and privacy preference. If you are on a shared Telegram session, remember that anyone who can access that session may also be able to reopen the Mini App. Device locks and Telegram session security still matter.
Can I choose my own address?
The quick-start flow creates a generated address. Current Premium features include custom addresses and custom domains for users who need stable naming or controlled testing. A custom domain is useful for legitimate QA and inbox isolation, but it is not a bypass tool. The custom-domain walkthrough explains the DNS and delivery checks before you change any mail records.
Start from the verified link
The shortest safe route is: open the exact @InboxtoBot profile, launch the Mini App, copy the generated address, and return to that inbox for expected email. Star any message you genuinely need to retain, delete identities you no longer use, and keep critical accounts on a recovery mailbox you control long term.
Open Inboxto in Telegram and create a temporary email without installing a separate mail application.
